In School
Dyslexia Support
Lexify Tuition provides specialist dyslexia teaching to schools in Rugby, Coventry and surrounding areas. We offer informal assessments to gauge the level and type of intervention needed for those with literacy difficulties and suspected dyslexia. If the child has received a formal diagnosis, we would also use that report as a basis for our programme.
The results of these assessments will inform a personalised weekly programme for the child. Our programme consists of lots of multi-sensory overlearning with varied tasks to maintain focus and interest and embed learning. Children can be tutored on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
Discrete Assesment Only
We offer schools the possibility of carrying out informal assessments on students to see where their learning gaps lie without actually providing any teaching. We then write a report with teaching recommendations personalised to that child and what parents could do at home to support the child’s learning.

Primary School
English and Maths Support
Lexify Tuition is able to offer children personalised English and maths tutoring across the primary age group. This can be delivered in groups of between 1 and 4 children either on school premises or virtually.
EAL Support
Many children with English as an additional Language struggle to keep up in the classroom.
We can offer individual and small group support to allow pupils to progress at their own pace and build their confidence gradually.

Secondary School
Study & Memory Skills
The needs of the older dyslexic student will differ from those of Primary age. Support for students of this age would consist of discussions around memory techniques and how these can be personalised to the student for maximum benefit. Various types of personalised study skills would be explored to enable the students to understand what type of learner they are and how best to maximise their study time in preparation for exams. Support could be given individually or in small groups.

Personal Tutoring
(1:1 or 2:1)
How it Works
Our specialist dyslexia programme consists of lots of multisensory overlearning with varied tasks to maintain focus and interest and embed learning. Depending on the age of the child, we also offer study skills and other higher level study support.
We advise one hour a week, either on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis. The sessions would ideally be held 1:1 or 1:2 at our premises in Rugby but could also be conducted virtually. All tutoring, be it to support dyslexia, English, maths or EAL is personalised, with all planning being based on an initial informal assessment of the learner’s needs. The learner is re-assessed regularly to ensure teaching is personally targeted at all times.
